Colombian investment visa a good idea?

I've been looking for a way to get my second passport and Colombia seems like the only viable option for me (even though there are other possibilities like Peru, Singapore or Georgia). And the only suitable type of long term visa I could find is "corporate investment". The investment has to be (at least) $28K and the law firm I talked to charges $3500 for the whole thing i.e. corporate registration and visa fees. It seems to be a renowned and reliable firm.
The corporate doesn't have to be functional, the investment is enough however it can serve as a starting point for my own business (consulting or importing).

I'm just not sure if converting such an amount of money to Colombian Pesos is a good idea. Like other emerging market currencies it has not been doing well. However if there is going to be a financial crisis here then this won't be a problem.

Sounds like it depends on how bad you want this.

I suggest getting it, unless you have means to get it another way (ancestry, living somewhere else for long enough, more affordable one to buy, fake/real "marriage")

What are the pros and cons of Peru, Singapore, and Georgia for you?

Singapore is a little sterile city-state with bad weather. Peru is not exciting as Colombia and the women not as good looking. I need to study Georgia further. Colombia has its own problems of course such as fraud. One good thing about it is that I can get this whole thing done without visiting the country.

Now I see that Georgia requires $110K of investment and doesn't allow dual citizenship.

I think you have your answer. Columbia is the bet unless you find somewhere with less friction.
