I'm finally starting to hit a good rhythm with writing related stuff, which is nice. I should expect the same kind of numbers next week if not higher. In fact I'm expecting these numbers to be higher very soon, since one of my higher paying clients took me off the upwork platform. They're promising me more work which is really great because I'm making $25 an hour working for them. So even if I write five articles (2 hours per article) a week for them, that's $250. If I can somehow write articles for them daily, then we're in this.

@joelsuf, are you good with prospecting?

I'm building a modeling agency, and need help finding girls to join

If you're up for that work, I'd pay you commission or cash, for every girl who signs up and makes money with my system?

I extend this to anyone and everyone here

That sounds alright, and yeah I would be able to do that for sure. I mean prospecting is my job, at least when I hunt for clients. I guess you can DM me here or something with the details. Or email me or something.

Deliveries = 250

This month sucked. Needed to get back on deliveries because the writing money hasn't been coming in. My clients are going to pay me but it is super delayed. At least June will start with a lot of income. Decided to do deliveries again. Checked to see if I'm still eligible for Uber Eats and I am which is nice. I'm not doing regular Uber and Lyft because there's a lot less stress involved in deliveries. And I get paid just as much per ride to deliver stuff. Delivering stuff is just fun, it brings out the adventurer in me. Don't get that with writing, but writing is a different kind of fun.

So when I'm not writing for clients I'll be doing deliveries. Or I'll edit what I previously did in between requests. I have a feeling things are going to blow up in a big way this month and for the rest of the year. I've been applying to dozens of writing jobs per week and I'm bound to hear from at least one eventually. I'm destined for some fantastic things, but I need to be the one to make those fantastic things happen. And they will. Everything is going to fall into place and I can't wait.

I'm still in the dark about so many things when it comes to freelance writing, specifically finding people to write for. I feel like its all about curiosity. I need to approach this stuff from a place of curiosity, like I'm a little kid discovering new stuff.

I'm still waiting on clients to pay me, but I'll get paid a lot once they do. I have a feeling that June will be month, even if I'm taking the entire last week of the month off. I'm making insane money from these deliveries, nearly $80 a day and only delivering stuff for about 5 or so hours. Not bad.

The pay I am getting from deliveries are insane. The amount you see above? It's from like 15 or so deliveries. I'm set to get a massive paycheck from some other stuff I wrote too since assignments are flying in now. I even got the OK to be a content manager for a website. It's just some mom-and-pop HVAC company that only wants about 1 article per month but who cares. The fact is things are going really good considering I was in panic mode three months ago.

I'm gonna do deliveries more frequently this week since the last week of June is going to be dedicated to creating a website for my freelance writing as well as working on my other websites. A project that I was considering since the pandemic began spreading is my own membership site, similar to Caleb's SMIC.

So yeah, I'm counting on next week to be big.

Freelance writing = 303

Like I said, big week this week. I'm currently taking the rest of the month off because I felt myself burning out. I might do a few deliveries but it won't be anything too crazy.

So far I've been using the time off to just hang out but I'm going to do a couple of other things as well when it comes to making my websites look better, making a website for my freelance writing business, and other stuff like that.

I actually feel a little guilty about taking so much time off but this is the first time this year I have actually taken a significant amount of time off so I feel like I deserve it. Still there's a part of me that's saying that I don't deserve the time off.

Although next week may not be too big the week after will probably be insane because I still have a lot more writing to do. Also my higher paying client who pays me $25 an hour wants me to start doing some real work starting July. Good stuff.

Freelance writing = 12
Bowling competition = 12 (28 in, 40 out)

June totals, don't forget this is with one week off for my vacation:

Freelance writing = 502.50
Deliveries = 835.35

Alright, last day of vacation. Didn't go to the massive bowling tournament that I wanted to go to on Sunday but its cool. Went to a local one instead, had some fun, choked hard during the round of 4 to get a 3rd place finish. There weren't too many out there so the payout wasn't to great. Ehh, big deal.

Gonna hit deliveries really hard going into July 4th weekend. Made a crazy amount of money doing deliveries last July 4th (think I made $150 in one day during one of those days) and gonna change up a lot of my websites and stuff in between requests. After that is finished, I'll start getting to work on the freelance writing projects I have in front of me.

Next week should be massive. Has the potential to be a $600 week or more depending on how much I get done.

Oh don't worry this will be wayyyy higher next week. It's funny, the day before the 4th I got like one delivery request but on the 4th I got a decent amount of them. Yesterday I made nearly 80 from 9 deliveries.

As far as freelance writing and other stuff goes, money will be rolling in like crazy next week if all goes well. My cheapo client is handing me assignments left and right and my 25 per hour client is giving me more work to do as well. We now hold weekly Zoom meetings as well. I'm on my way to building a Patreon page for my YouTube channel as well as a membership similar to Caleb's SMIC (only it's in a different niche obviously). But that stuff is still in development. Was gonna work on it during my vacation but I really needed to use that week to wind down.

Havent made any money writing yet, but when it comes it is going to be massive. Bought Caleb's new business related book and I'm going to join his affiliate program later this week.

I'll be honest, I'm on the fence with affiliate marketing at large since I create stuff and would rather sell THAT than what others have made but I told myself that I should give it a shot. So I will. I'll probably join the affiliate program tomorrow while at bowling league.

Got five more writing assignments for this week and another call with my 25/hour client, who now wants to just pay me monthly. One of my goals for the summer is to get 40 hours of work for this specific client in for either July or August. Then I'll bump it up from there.

Deliveries are INSANE. I'm getting close to 10 per delivery and because I am in a college town with a lower concentration of college kids, the deliveries do not take nearly as long. The money I made this week was from a little under 50 deliveries. Not even 10 per day if measuring across 6 days. Good stuff.

This summer is going to rock when it comes to my income/vocation/financial life.

Deliveries = 247.12
Writing = 446.36

Finally got paid for the writing I was doing the last week or so. Good stuff.

So my 25/hour client now wants to pay me monthly. So I'll be getting paid by them when August begins. It'll be a good start to the month I suppose, although I like getting paid weekly better.

I'm getting into Caleb's new book and reading it very attentively, taking notes on it as if it was a college course.

I might back off deliveries for a bit this week since COVID cases went up a LOT where I live. I want to protect myself and not get sick. It's mostly college kids but guess what? I deliver stuff to college kids most of the time so I need to be careful.

There's lots of writing that I need to get done anyway so I'll want to focus on that more.

I would not mind hitting these kinds of numbers next week. But that really depends on what kinds of assignments I have in front of me and how much they will pay.

By the way, about $65 of the delivery amount was from a friend of benefits of mine. Just came out of a soft next, she offered me $50 to drive her around and run some errands. We get back to her place, have sex because she was extremely horny, then Cashapp'd me the $50. Gave me a bunch of prepaid vanilla cards too, each with a couple bucks left on them. Good stuff. Soft Nexting is the best invention ever. She even told me that she appreciates the fact that I soft next whenever she gets mad at me instead of arguing with her. Ha!

I'm pretty disappointed with myself this week, since I should also have made money bowling and playing poker but I lost what I made haha. Here's what happened.

On Wednesday, I bought some brackets in bowling league since I have an unusually high amount of handicap (pins that they add to your "scratch" scores). I wound up doubling the $30 that I bought in.

Saturday was poker with the guys. Now my last few poker sessions were really bad because I forgot to play. Forgot that you should only keep playing before the Flop if you have a decent hand in the pocket. So I followed my poker basic strategy and nearly doubled the 20 that I put in. But I took one big chance (I DID have a good hand in the pocket, a pair of 8s) and lost. Wound up losing 5 bucks.

Then I bowled a tournament on Sunday. $30 to get in. Destroyed everyone in qualifying, getting seeded 2nd going into the round of 32. Only one who beat me was the tournament director's kid haha. Got past the round of 32 but then got KO'd during the round of 16 because my execution was piss poor. Weak sauce. $500 went to the champion, who ironically enough was a guy I coach from time to time haha. I might actually take the courses necessary to be a bowling coach going into next season, I could see that being profitable. Location dependent, but profitable. Hmm.

Even worse, I'm feeling the effects of all the bowling I did yesterday. Both my left calf and my right upper back and upper chest gave out when running today.

Driving was insane. I did exactly one order after bowling yesterday and it alone paid me $25. I had two days where I made close to $100 from deliveries.

I have a TON of writing I need to do now so August promises to be a pretty good month right out of the gate.

I'll do an end of the month update on Friday before checking in again next Monday/Tuesday.

Oh and I signed up for Caleb's affiliate program. I'm currently reading Big Income From Little Work and I'm about halfway in. I think I made a mistake by starting my freelance writing business and my blogs at roughly the same time. I might need to put one on hold so I can work on the other.

I'll go through my options tomorrow. It would really suck to put one thing on hold so I can get another thing to where it needs to be but judging from what I am seeing in Big Income, I might need to. Damn.

July 28-31

Deliveries = 143.34

My dumbass forgot to report in on the last day of July. Whoops. But there it is. Just some deliveries. Still working on some freelance writing assignments but once they get finished I'll see a decent amount of cash.

August 1-3

Deliveries = 138.27

Uber eats deliveries are insane right now. Probably because the heat index where I'm at is like 115 degrees and that means no one wants to go anywhere haha. Fine by me. I've been getting paid an average of about 7 to 8 bucks a delivery, and its only taking me about 15 minutes or so to do each one. After about 4 hours of driving, I've already made about 80 or so. This gives me time to do tons of writing which I did take some time off from but I'm back at it now.

One of my freelance writing clients disappeared for 8 months and all of a sudden assigned me to do a massive article for them. I also have about 12 more articles left in the queue that I need to finish. Once I'm all done with that I won't be surprised if I get paid close to a grand.

Things are looking up for my freelance writing vocation but I DO need to start taking it a lot more seriously. The days of me pitching on Upwork and Problogger and hoping are gone. It's time for me to make a website with a clear portfolio showing what I can do. I have a pretty decent track record now and I should be able to expand easily.

Doing a couple bowling tournaments this week, so hopefully next Tuesday I'll win some money doing that. It's high time for me to do so. I'm sick of going to these bowling tournaments and doing meh. Bowling meh doesn't win you money.

August 4-10

Deliveries = 339
Bowling competition = 72

Wound up not doing any bowling tournaments so I did a bit more driving. I also did a massive assignment for a client in writing so I'm expecting to get a massive check from that. Also got more stuff to write as well.

I might actually take a couple of days off this week, make a website with a writing portfolio, and build my LinkedIn page. After completely reading Big Income From Little Work, I realized that I made a big mistake: I started my blog and my freelance writing business at the same time. THIS is why I am struggling. I might need to drop one to work on the other while still doing some deliveries every day.

I really need to take some time to deeply think about this. I don't want to leave my blog or my freelance writing behind but it's looking like I need to ditch one of them temporarily. Maybe for the rest of the year or something. Or at least until I'm at a point where my freelance writing related stuff makes just as much as deliveries do at a similar rate.

To give some perspective, I only need to do about 8 or so deliveries per day to make over $300 per week. This only takes me about 5 hours a day then I can do other stuff: Go to the gym, write, go on dates, bowl, whatever.

My goal with either freelance writing or my content is to make the same kind of money in a similar amount of time.

If I take on too much I'll half ass everything. I'd rather dedicate everything to either freelance writing or my content, not some into one and some into another.

If I was in my 20s this wouldn't be an issue at all. But I can't put in 18 hour days like I could back then.

I'll give all this some thought and report back in next week.

August 11-17

Deliveries = 272.80
Freelance writing = 121

This week was chock full of half days and days where I wasn't really as focused as I could and should have been.

Went on a bowling trip with my buddy and got injured while bowling and had to take the rest of the day off, so there's that. Couldn't do a single delivery or write anything that day. Not good. I would have made about $60 or $80 more in deliveries at least if I didn't go.

Anyways, I did come up with a system to where I'll be able to manage the stuff I do.

So as I was journaling today, I realized that I am met with three distinct scenarios.

The first scenario has me waiting on writing assignments to come in after confirming with my clients that assignments are coming in and would like some quick income in the form of deliveries.

The second scenario has me working on a lot of writing assignments, more than 5.

The third scenario has me looking for writing assignments to do. In this scenario I have less than 5 assignments that I need to do. In this scenario, I don't really care about acquiring the fast income that deliveries offer me.

From these three scenarios, I have created three different productivity "templates" that are designed to organize my time better.

The first of these has me do tons of deliveries, from the time I get up until the time it gets dark out. If I do make content or work on assignments, I'll do it for maybe 4 hours.

In the second one, I split everything evenly. I take 4 hours to do deliveries, 4 hours to write for clients (or look for new gigs), and 4 hours to make content on my YouTube and twitch channels and my blogs and stuff.

The third one is all about freelance writing. This is where I have at least 5 assignments that I need to do.

I know that I can juggle deliveries, writing assignments, and making content. It's all about what kind of work I need to do. It just took a good day off for me to organize everything.
