Deliveries = 322.50
Writing = 270

Got paid for the massive pamphlet I made. I got assigned another as well. This time I'll ask for even more money for doing it. The worst that will happen is that the client will say no, right?

Also got assigned to edit some headlines for some webpages for 25 bucks an hour.

Almost done with another set of assignments as well. The month should conclude with me making around 500 to 800 across all my freelance writing assignments. I'll see a good amount of this when September begins but that's fine.

Deliveries have been off the page and I mean off the damn page. The last few days, I experimented with doing 7 or so hours of deliveries straight without taking my usual lunch break from 3 to 4 in the afternoon. The result was that I made way more money, around 120 per day. This means I only really need to do three days of "full time" deliveries to maintain my lifestyle. Everything else is extra. Nice.

By the way, my weekly schedule is changing starting in September. I used to take Tuesdays as my day off with Monday being a half day. Now that I have bowling league on Thursdays, it makes more sense to take Thursdays off. So I'll report in every Thursday starting with today. Will probably do it AT bowling league too since I can still do stuff during league while waiting between frames.

Although I will check in on Tuesday just to wrap up the month of August.

A little late on this check in, whoops. Anyways...

August 28-31

Deliveries = 434.56

So going into the final week of August, I decided to see what would happen if I accepted deliveries all the way from the second I woke up until 7 in the evening for six days straight. The result was that I made a little over $100 per day.

This got me to think of a strategy: If I can put in a couple of weeks like this per month, I can spend the rest of the month doing nothing but improvement work: Looking for clients to write for or making content for my blogs, YouTube channel, and websites.

I'll be doing this starting tomorrow. If I don't have stuff due, I'm just going to do deliveries all day, making about $600 per week. After two weeks, my monthly obligations are totally taken care of and I can work on writing related stuff and maybe do some deliveries here and there so I can get out of the house.

Also like I said I'll be reporting in on Thursdays instead of Tuesdays from now on, since I'd rather take an entire day off if I have to bowl instead of cut the day in half.

Uber Eats = 700.31

I only have two words for my Uber Eats results: Holy shit. The number you see is with me starting on the 4th, by the way. And with a half day yesterday and last Friday. I took the first couple of days in September off for a mini-vacation. I had no idea that just keeping the driver app on until 7 in the evening instead of turning it off from 3 to 4 so I could eat was going to result in that many delivery requests.

The only problem with this is that I need to get really shitty fast food in between deliveries, since the vitamins I take need to be taken with food. I can fix this tho, just gotta pack a sandwich or something before the deliveries begin.

I'll be getting paid for writing assignments next week and I'll probably surpass this number on Uber Eats next week. I'm assuming that I'll make at least $1200 to $1500 in between Uber Eats and writing assignments. I already have $230 coming my way in writing assignments, so...

I will ease off doing Uber Eats for a bit in the last half of the month and focus on writing because I'll be decisively ahead on expenses by then. Got a new book in the works and I want to get it finished by Election Day. Gonna start spreading the word about it about a week before.

Something I might do is prepay my phone for an entire year or something. One payment of $400 would do that. Would be nice to not worry about paying for my phone every month.

The smaller balances of my debt are starting to get knocked out too. My plan is to have all my credit cards paid off by the end of the year this way I can dedicate 1-2k a week towards my student loans.

I'd like to be completely debt free by 2022 and if I know I can do that if I'm making $1000 a week. Let's do this!

Uber Eats = 446.48
Freelance writing = 231.30

NO more driving for the rest of the month for me. Two reasons for this. First, I'm seeing my family in October so I want to make sure I'm COVID free before seeing them. I can do that by quarantining. Second, I might have COVID myself. Had very mild fever like symptoms over the weekend and lost my sense of smell since Monday. Everything else is fine but I don't want to take chances. Sooooo I'm going to get tested tomorrow and then once again at the end of the month. Then I'll go on vacation for the first week of October, seeing my childhood friend then my family. It'll be nice. My family has been super supportive of my Alpha 2 lifestyle and I haven't seen them since weeks before COVID stated spreading.

Either way, I'll have some more freelance writing money coming in and a little more Uber Eats money coming in next week anyways.

Even if I am taking the second half of the month off of driving, September is going to be a big month regardless. Pretty fantastic what happens when I apply myself and am willing to work long hours. I never thought that keeping my Uber Eats driver app on for 7-8 hours straight was going to be this profitable.

I have a solid plan for the second and third weeks of October when I do Uber Eats full time again. Instead of getting crappy fast food for my food break, I'll pack some hard boiled eggs. I also need to stay hydrated. I can do that by keeping a gallon jug of water in my car. This is much better than what I was doing, which was getting water from the food joints I was going to and then snacking on some chips as a food break.

As far as writing goes, my wrist is feeling much better.

The next few days might actually be half days. There's a lot of stuff on my computers/websites that I want to organize and make a lot better this way my freelance writing business and my content business can enter their next phases. I will definitely use the next couple weeks for that.

I'm really excited for the next couple of weeks. I'll be one more step closer to not relying on Uber Eats for income. When this year began, I just wanted to attain an 18k/year income pace by doing this stuff. Now, as we enter the last quarter of the year, there is a good chance I may hit my 30k goal.

That is dependent on not Uber Eats, but my freelance writing and content businesses. I mean sure, I can definitely make $600-$700 per week from Uber Eats and probably $1000 a week if I do it for like 12 hours a day for 6 days a week, but that isn't my future. Uber Eats is my maintenance income.

The goal for the last quarter of the year is match my Uber Eats numbers with my freelance writing numbers. This is possible, but I need to start doing what is necessary.

All things considered, expect the last quarter of this year to be massive.

Deliveries = 157.57

Well since I tested positive for COVID19, I wasn't able to make much more than a couple days' worth in deliveries. Had I been COVID free, that number would have been way higher, probably somewhere in the 500s.

I'm due to get paid a ton from writing assignments, provided I finish them by the end of the month which is not only possible, it is also likely.

The first week of October will still be a vacation, even though I won't be seeing anybody. I'll still enjoy myself.

Uber Eats = 210 (in the form of paid time off)
Freelance writing = 630.50

Totals for September:
Uber Eats = 1514.36
Freelance writing = 861.80

I impressed myself this month. Keep in mind this was WITH me having to isolate and recover from COVID19 for a couple weeks too. If I didn't get COVID19, I would have gotten A LOT more than the $210 paid time off from Uber Eats. If I didn't force myself to take time off Uber Eats, that total for Uber Eats would have probably hit the $2000 mark.

Uber Eats was straight up insane. I made nearly $1200 in TWO WEEKS doing it. Insane, straight up.

Freelance writing is also starting to shape up to be a legit replacement for Uber Eats.

Contracting COVID19 screwed up my vacation plans. I was going to take the entire first week of October off and see my friends and family. Wasn't able to do that because of getting COVID19.

I'm still taking the first week of the month off, but what I will do is take a few days of the second week of this month off to get tested for COVID19 again. If it comes back negative (which it should since I recovered from it), I'll immediately see my friends and family right after getting the results. Like leave straight from the clinic to my mom and stepfather. Then I'll see my childhood buddy. If it comes back positive...well, I'll keep working as usual anyways and put seeing my friends and family on hold again. Word on the street is that you can have the virus for as long as half a year but not necessarily be contagious but the moment of truth will come in two weeks.

What I'm going to do for October is do Uber Eats like crazy and see if I can hit that $1200 mark in 10 or so days, from the 5th until I get tested for COVID19 again on the 16th. Shouldn't be too difficult to do especially if I do what I did in the beginning of September which is to do NOTHING but deliveries from the time I wake up until 7 in the evening when the sun goes down. This yielded right around $1000.

As far as freelance writing and my content business goes, I'm now aware that I'm not doing nearly as much as I should do. I need to actually put a name on my freelance writing business, make a website with my complete track record and start marketing the bejesus out of it. It is DEFINITELY time for me to level up in that regard. There isn't anything stopping me here.

If this month has shown me anything, it showed me that I am more than capable of making WAY more money than I ever have. I just need to put in a decent amount of effort.

The last quarter of the year is going to be massive. Gonna try and make $10k from now until the end of the year. If I put in the right effort, I'll be able to do this easily. Let's go!

No income since I was on vacation!

Here's what I'm going to do. The first half of the month is going to be dedicated to marketing my freelance writing business and my blog. No driving will take place. The main reason for this is because I'm going to see my mom and stepdad in a week and don't want to put myself at risk for COVID19. Also, I have plenty of money saved up for expenses either way so I can pull this off.

This will allow me to dump all my energy into marketing and making content, which is something I have desperately needed to do for a very long time. So admittedly, my numbers for the first couple weeks of October might suck. But they will be ridiculous for the last two weeks.

Gonna make websites for my freelance writing business copying some of the best in the business. I've been following Laura Pennington-Briggs, Dan Marguiles, and Neville Medhora. All three are really good at what they do and I'll probably be a lot more successful if I model them.

Somehow, I need to make a website that takes the best traits of all three while adding my personal touch. I'm going to take today to see if the domains are available and if they are available I will set them up. Fortunately, my Bluehost account allows me to add I think a dozen subdomains meaning I can make a dozen different websites. Good stuff.

So yeah, that's the plan. Straight up marketing, doing freelance writing assignments, and making content until I see my fam. Then I'll drive like crazy for the back half of the month. Hopefully I don't get COVID19 again lol.

I really shouldn't have elected to get the PTO from Uber Eats. Cuz now I can't go online. But that will be decisively resolved by next week. Worst comes to worst I can just drive for another delivery service like Doordash or Postmates. No prob.

No income because I was doing tons of improvement work! Also started working on some freelance writing assignments as well.

Uber Eats is back up, so after I see my fam this weekend I will do deliveries like mad. Seriously the last two weeks of the month are going to be jam packed with me doing nothing but deliveries.

I applied to about 20 different writing gigs, hit up all my customers, and I got some assignments I need to do as well. I'll do those after deliveries.

Earlier this week I was kind of feeling weird about applying for writing gigs but after saying to my self to just apply for them without a second thought that's what I did. That's how things are when you are a noob: You just gotta get your damn name out there.

One of my customers is actually referring me to some of their colleagues. Tonight I'll ask if the colleagues are also using Upwork, which is how I am working with this particular customer. He's in China so that's why I'm gonna hit him up tonight instead of right now lol.

So the last half of this month will be nothing but Standard Work with some Improvement Work thrown in. I'm pretty sure that I can match or even beat my numbers from last month without a problem. Might need to give up my days off but that's whatever. Days off are pretty much optional for me at the moment since I did take the whole first week of this month off.

I heard that some Uber Eats deliveries are getting lower pay. Big deal, I'll just do more of em, make sure the food is perfect, make sure my conduct is perfect, and make up for it in tips. Either way, we're rolling.

About my freelance writing website: I will find a domain and buy it as soon as I get some deliveries in. Over the weekend I'm also going to clean my "writing" PC because there is way too much nonsense on here. That's probably Useless Work since I can (and should) just pay someone at a computer store to do it but if I'm just gonna be hanging out with my family I may as well knock it out myself.

Alright, let's do this and let's get some good income on the board for the rest of this month!

Uber Eats = 192.06

This was only with me starting on Monday. Spent the weekend with my family since I did promise to see them. While I was there I cleaned up my PC like crazy. Did that pretty much all day on Saturday. Friday and Sunday were spent travelling. Family wanted me to stay longer but that will be during the holidays when there is pretty much nothing to do.

Something that kind of concerns me is that I'm not getting as many bonuses as I was getting before with Uber Eats. Word on the street is that it is a glitch that will be fixed soon and I'll get the extra pay, but I'll believe that when I see it.

I've been getting a few writing assignments but not enough to yield any significant pay. This is probably because I took the whole first week of the month off. I'll get paid for some of it though.

The lack of bonuses really affected how much I got paid doing Uber Eats. It's cut my previous pay rates by about a third or so. Instead of $8 or so per delivery now it is $6 or so on a good day. Still, I made about $65 a day over the last three days so it isn't horrible. Just annoying. Should be able to grind this out pretty well if I do tons of deliveries.

Uber Eats = 532.92
Bowling competition = 87

October totals

Uber Eats = 729.13
(Bowling competiton was a net loss. 201 in and 190 out)

November 1 - 5

Uber Eats = 183.56
Freelance Writing = 250 (pending)

I took a lot of time off during October, most of it planned but some of it wasn't really intended. I planned to see my family during the first week of October but I had COVID19 at that time so I couldn't see them. Instead I decided to take a weekend off and see them. I also took some time off to bowl in a tournament out of town as well.

I also didn't have a lot to do in terms of writing assigments in October. However, that changed real quick. Got a whole bunch of assignments the night before Halloween and I'm doing some trial assignments as we speak as well. It'll be my 37th client in the four years of me doing this stuff. That's with me taking only about 10 hours a week to hunt for writing gigs. My goal was to hit 50 before 2021 but around 40 isn't too bad. So November is shaping up to yield a lot more income than October already.

Uber eats is back to normal. I got the bonuses I was owed but now there are a lot less bonuses than before. Oh well, dems the breaks.

I need to stay on task in a big way this month. I'll be going out of town for another bowling tournament next weekend then two weeks after that I'm bowling in my third PBA tournament: A doubles tournament with one of my teammates from league who is really young and full of potential. So I'm gonna be practicing like crazy.

Another reason this month needs to be big is because a lot of stuff slows down in December and I got a lot of stuff planned. Gonna get another work physical then another COVID19 test before seeing my family again for Christmas. So yeah, time to get busy.

Millionaire Fastlane has been ordered and later tonight I'll be looking into making another website that contains all the writing I have done for others.

Let's do this!

November 6 - 11

Uber Eats = 223.83

Got a whole bunch of writing assignments dumped on me that I wanted to finish by the weekend. Got one more left. Got a bowling tournament on Saturday, and tomorrow I'm going to do some intense IW where I get on my stream for practically the entire day playing through my favorite video game ever. Said game turns 20 tomorrow so I figure I celebrate it by trying to beat it as fast as I can and streaming myself doing it.

I've come to an epiphany: If I'm gonna play video games, I may as well stream myself playing them. Both relaxation and IW (by way of making content therefore doing marketing for my stuff) gets done this way.

The Activist Inquisition is finished. Mirrors a lot of stuff that Caleb says but it goes into even greater depth. I definitely demonstrated my background in social science in it (ah, the good ol days when I was a young, stupid, Anarcho-Communist lol. Don't worry peeps I'm an Anarcho-Capitalist now; starting your own business and setting your own hours does that to ya).

Feel free to buy it (and other stuff I sell) here:

The rest of this month is going to be NOTHING but driving and bowling. Got 3-4 tournaments that I want to go to so I'm probably going to do Uber Eats as much as I can then also practice when I can. One of these tournaments will be my third PBA Regional...I intend to cash in it, if my doubles partner can step his shit up (and he has; he's been averaging 225+ since October in our league).

I've decided to read Millionaire Fastlane on Thanksgiving day since I'm not going to be doing a damn thing that day. Right now I'm just kinda skimming through it but I really want to read it attentively while not being distracted by anything else. So that'll happen in a couple weeks.

This year has been fantastic for me in terms of this area, but there's still soooooo much I want to do.

I'm working on a bunch of new assignments as we speak, so that number you see for the assignments will probably go up before the next time I check in.

My next report will be on Wednesday since I want to take a complete day of on Thanksgiving.

I've decided not to do all the bowling I wanted to do. Although there are a couple tournaments I want to go to, I've decided not to drop so much money on tournaments for awhile. Might go to a couple before the month is over but we'll see.

Not a bad month, considering I took a little more time off than usual to bowl and celebrate Thanksgiving. Getting that flat tire on Black Friday messed with me a bit but its whatevs.

I'm getting closer and closer to replacing my Uber Eats income with income from writing assignments. Going into 2021 I'll be able to make this transition fully. That's the goal, anyway.

Uber Eats = 183
Writing assignments = 95

Got a whole bunch of assignments I need to work on. Also I expect to get a payout from a bowling tournament that I kicked ass at any time soon. Should be a few hundred bucks for that.

Bowled in a tournament Sunday and won a free entry to the next one since I qualified first but I got KO'd in the round of 16. Leaving two 7-10 splits in a row will do that lol.

I expect this month to be massive with both Uber Eats and writing related stuff.

Gotta love how COVID19 actually improved this area of my life. Kinda want another "shelter-in-place order to come around since it'll spike the crap out of delivery requests and force me to stay home and write. Would miss bowling and chilling at my watering hole tho.
