here is my interpretation of what to do in case of lockdown - RTFM

I understand that there are ways to get around this stuff, but that shouldn't be necessary in the first place.

The fact that anyone needs to work around that kind of stuff speaks of totalitarianism and it is exactly what people in places like North Korea need to do daily to avoid getting executed.

Only a matter of time before the rest of the world gets like this. The pandemic has shown me that North Korea is the future and that really sucks. Here in the US, I'm expecting the national guard to patrol the streets ready to shoot at people they find suspicious on site. Only a matter of time.

The best government is self-government and the best laws are no laws. Been that way for nearly 200k years and its only a matter of time before people start seeing the truth of that statement. The fact that it's gonna take stuff like this to recognize it is really sad.

Not gonna lie, the temptation for me to drop everything and start a bloody revolution in reaction to all this has been very great. But I know what a bloody revolution entails from reading about them extensively and I'll admit that I'm not willing to make those kinds of sacrifices.

January 17-24

I hit last week's goals pretty decisively when it comes to business/vocation. Made about $600 across Uber Eats and my writing assignments. Uber Eats has been very lucrative and I keep getting assignments in the queue. Good stuff. Been applying to more gigs too. Once I land one that pays a little more, I'll be set. Until then, I'll grind Uber Eats out.

It rained and was really cold all week. I was only able to run one 5k because of this. As far as the work physical, I'm still trying to find locations where my health insurance can pay for it. It'll cost a little over 100 at my local clinic and that's fine, but it would be very nice if my insurance could pay for it.

Here's my goals for next week:

Business/vocation = Make $600 across Uber Eats and writing assignments, apply to at least 10 writing gigs.

Physical health = Actually get my damn work physical, run two 5ks.

I'm making tons of progress already and the year has just begun. Something that is distracting me is all the shitty events that have been taking place. The US's obsession with external solutions and retarded activism has been getting to me. It's nearly unavoidable and its causing me to get distracted by ranting about social/political nonsense that I shouldn't even be batting an eye at. I'll do all I can to avoid this temptation since it messes with my production.

Last week score:

Business/vocation:

Make $600 across Uber Eats and writing assignments = Had a first date and a bowling tournament this week, so I fell a bit short here. I hit about $450.

Apply to at least 10 writing gigs = I applied to about 5 or so. Doing this is not as easy to do if I have assignments. In between uber eats, exercise, and assignments, I have roughly an hour or so to apply to writing gigs.

Physical health:

Actually get my damn work physical = Alright, this thing is finally scheduled. All the way on April 5th but hell, at least it is done.

Run two 5ks = Did this like I do every Tuesday and Saturday. Both were under a half hour. Saturday's wasn't too great, a little under a half hour, but Tuesday's was awesome, about 28 and a half minutes.

Goals for 1/25 - 2/1:

Business/vocation:

Make at least $500 across Uber Eats and writing assignments = This should be easy. Uber Eats is starting to do streak promotions again which is awesome. You get $20 for doing 8 deliveries in a row. Good stuff.

Apply to 5 writing gigs = I need to do this even if I have a lot of writing assignments. Fortunately, it shouldn't be too difficult.

Post an "Updated" article to my website = I'm starting to use the website where I sell stuff as a blog this way things can be a little more organized. So I'll want to do this as much as I can.

Chicks:

Have a successful first date that leads to a 2nd date: Seeing a new chick on Wednesday and she's alright. Definitely want to make her part of my roster.

Physical health:

Run at least two 5ks and average under 29 minutes for both: I need to start doing faster 5ks if I want to get a 5k under 28 minutes, so this will get done. I might do more than two, we will see.

So this week I got to talk to Max to join the A2S - enjoyed chatting greatly - cheers!! Funnily enough Max's meeting scheduling software was overzealous and booked me in for when he was in a meeting - and while I was waiting I thought it was going to clash with my super cute petite blonde MLTR coming around. It would be good social proof though that I walk the walk .

Good news on my kids operation - all clear. I actually think my kids boost my happiness a lot, but - guess what - I'm not doing this the normal way. And back in the day - I bet being a new dad boosted my testosterone- but that's another funny story.

Woken one morning last week at 6am by one of my team. Drama from Japan. A f'**king crisis. Wet razor shaved and into business clothes in less than 5 mins - to find the almost never seen chairman of the company group wild eyed with his hair on end and a panicked team behind him. I only got as far as Kon'nichiwa when he switched to English which no one had heard him use from our end at least!

So... let down by Scandinavians would you believe! You'd crap yourself if you knew how big a deal he might have lost there. I'm embarrassed to even say the numbers.

I had an action plan in place to save his skin in ten minutes. I had a team on it by start of business and had his problem solved in 48 hours. I hope I'm getting some Kudos for this. My Japanese teacher thinks I should get a samuria sword at least. I guess I own 10% of the shares of the Japanese consortium and some hefty licensing agreements so I'm not entirely selfless in this.
